It only took fifty combined years of pop dominance to get here.

Madonna brought Kylie Minogue onstage during her Club Confessions set at WorldPride Amsterdam this past weekend, and the two didn’t just wave to the crowd. They debuted “Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix),” a new version of the Confessions II track featuring Minogue’s vocals for the first time. Madonna confirmed Monday that the song drops this week, officially making it the first-ever recorded collaboration between the two icons.

Yes, first-ever. Despite decades of overlapping fanbases, matching disco eras, and enough mutual admiration to fill a Pride float, Madonna and Kylie had never put out a song together until now.

The remix comes from Stuart Price, the producer behind Madonna’s 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, and the original “Love Sensation” is already sitting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart.
