By message requests. Send anyone a short opener and it lands in their Requests folder. The chat only opens if they accept, so no one can message you out of the blue and the conversations you get are ones you said yes to.

Because consent is the whole point. On most apps anyone can slide into your DMs, wanted or not. Here, a request waits in your Requests folder until you accept it, decline it silently, or block. A conversation only starts when you say yes.

Yes. Singles meet singles, singles meet couples, and couples meet couples. You choose who you reach out to.

A couple shares one profile, but each partner has their own login. When a message request is accepted the chat opens for both of you, so nothing happens behind your back.

Yes, the core app is free: build a profile, browse your city, match, and message. Founding members get 3 months of ssslither+ on us. ssslither+ adds extra reach and controls, but your privacy and safety are never behind a paywall.

Only approved, logged-in members. Your profile is never public on the open web and is not indexed by search engines, and your email is never shown to other members.

It hides you from the grid so you can browse without being seen. You can still send message requests, and when you reach out that person sees your profile. Toggle it anytime from your profile, it is free.

A short opener you send to anyone, single or couple, with your profile attached. It sits in their Requests folder until they accept, decline silently, or block. Only accepting opens the chat, and your opener becomes its first message.

You can block and report anyone from their profile, and our team reviews reports. Blocking removes you from each other entirely. Always meet in public the first time and use your judgment.

ssslither is strictly for adults 18 and older. You confirm your age at signup, profiles are reviewed, and we remove anyone we believe is underage.

From your profile page, anytime. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, photos, requests, matches, and messages.

Yes. Manage billing lets you switch plans anytime, and Stripe prorates the difference automatically.

They are yours, full stop. Free time you earned as a founding member or through referrals is tracked separately and honored to its date, even if you subscribe and later cancel.

No. Your profile, matches, and chats all stay. You move to the free tier, so free-tier limits apply again (like 30-day chat media retention and 10 new message requests a day), but nothing is deleted when you cancel.

No. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, the same processor used by millions of businesses. We never see or store your card number.
